Environmental portrait photography of a Sudbury Osteopath
So, we were recently asked to photograph a local Osteopath, Dr. Tom Warner, who needed some images for his new website. We discussed what was required, and decided on some environmental photography, to truly show the amount of care and quality of service that’s offered by his clinic.
We dedicated a half day to the shoot and with our glamorous model (Toms wife Dorne) as well as a friend of theirs for the patient shots, we set about the task.
Now, when photographing an environmental portrait, we need to make sure that we really convey the key factors of the business. In Toms case, we wanted to show that he’s professional, but caring. We need to explain the process of visiting his clinic, in pictures.
We discussed what happens for a new client visiting the clinic for the first time, then committed that process to images.
So, the first picture was images of the clinic frontage, covered the initial meet and greet, and went through to the actual Osteopathic process.
